I am not going to explain about How Search Engine Works and write you a Primary Material starting from Zero to Advanced. I assume that we all know the basic of Search Engine Knowledge as we dare to get each one of us at least one website. Read on . . .

** If you get a good listing on Google Search Engine, it does not mean you will also get a good listing on Yahoo! Search Engine.

** When you use a good proper ways to get a good listing on one Search Engine, you would most likely to get a good listing on many major Search Engines.

** Each Search Engine has its own calculation to rank websites. So there is nothing like one Search Engine adopting another Search Engine’s list. So, as you work on getting a good listing on Google Search Engine, you will also be working from zero on Yahoo! Search Engine . . . yup!

** Search Engine owners improvise their services and security level as many times as you can ever imagine. So, using tricks and formulas to get a high rank on Search Engines will be useless!

** Good quality contents, as well as to say “Articles”, and updating them or adding them regularly will most likely be the BEST way on getting a good listing on all major Search Engines.

** Using you very Keywords or KeyPhrases within your content or articles on your website, spreading them throughout your content as naturally as they would be, without adopting or copying other website’s content will also be another good advice on getting your website a good listing on all major Search Engines.

** Search Engines rank and list each and every page you have on your website, Search Engines do not rank your website. So it is very important to have more pages on your website, with good quality contents for sure.

** Search Engine Ranking is not at all the same or even close to Alexa Rank. They are merely two different Rankings.

** Though your website has got a good Search Engine listing and get the first position on the search result, you must always update your website. As I said before, Search Engines improvise their system as many times as you may think of, so Search Engines will get all the information they need on the top listing website on their Search Engine. If for any reason they see that your website, which happens to be on the first or top list, gets visitors for a short time of period at a time, Search Engine owners will remove it from the top list. More, if they see that searchers will be coming back and search for the same “term” again and again, Search Engine owners will remove your site from the top list.

** Internet Search Engine users or Internet searchers are now trying to find what they need by using more than just “a word” so as a website owner who would like to get a good Search Engine listing, you need not to only use “a word” but “words”. This is the same as to say : use “keywords” and “keyphrase” and “keyphrases” instead of just “keyword”

** If you combine your work on Google Search Engine and Alexa Ranking both eagerly to get good results, you will get good listings on many Search Engines as well.

** Be aware that Search Engines do make their own “black list” and “banned” any websites proven on making any activity that breaks their rules and terms, so these websites will be removed from even to get listed.

Be a source of integrity. Don’t be phony, people will know and not come to visit your site again. Even worse, they will post a bad review somewhere on the web and others will not even come to see for themselves. If you don’t know about something, don’t pretend that you do.

Respect your customers, or prospective customers, and offer them something of value.

Follow-up with your customers, but don’t be a pest. Basically, don’t spam, don’t steal, and don’t lie.

Just as in an offline business, there are ethics and standards 

that should be followed. If you are starting an online business, 

you’ve probably spent some time online already and can see that 

there are hundreds of thousands of businesses trying to sell their 

products and information and services to you. 

Study how they do it. Spend some time visiting the websites of your 

competitors, much like you would when preparing a business plan for 

an offline business.
